ColumBUS Transit updates bus loops starting Tuesday

COLUMBUS, Ind. - ColumBUS Transit will be rolling out upgrades to the bus loop system beginning this Tuesday, August 18. To better serve the community, riders will see enhancements to the Blue, Green, and Red-Taylorsville loops.    

The stops at Southern Indiana Orthopedics and Victory Lane/Indianapolis Road will now be serviced as deviated stops on Red - Taylorsville and Blue A.

The stops at Carter Crossing on Lowell Road and County Road 200W/Melrose Lane will also now be deviated stops.     

Pickups from these stops must be scheduled ahead by calling 812-376-2506 during normal business hours. Rides can be left by voicemail during off-hours, but will not be scheduled until the next business day.    

Updated loop maps and bus schedules are available online at columbus.in.gov/columbus-transit/.
