Ignite Columbus hosts 'One Small Thing'

COLUMBUS, Ind.- Ignite Columbus is holding its "One Small Thing" event next month and is now seeking presenters for the Idea-sharing competition.

Ignite Columbus is focused on having an event that rewards the presenter’s desire to improve the Columbus community.

Applications will be submitted in one of two categories:  

  1. “Most Impactful Presentation” – CASH Prize - Competitors pitch their ideas to the panel of judges for funding.; the projec  t must focus on One Small Thing that creates a ripple effect, helping build America’s Best Community   
  2. “Most Enlightening Presentation” - CASH Prize - Competitors teach the audience something; this category isn’t tied to a project – it’s designed to be educational or entertaining and centered around our theme of One Small Thing

A “People’s Choice Award” will also be given, with audience members voting for their favorite presentation. Applications are due Sunday, February 22.
