COLUMBUS, Ind. - The 2026 "Moonlight Loop" bike ride to benefit Columbus Animal Care Services (CACS) is this Saturday, August 22. The leisurely 19-mile, police-escorted ride through Columbus leaves from the Bartholomew County Public Library Plaza at 9 p.m.
After winding through town, the ride concludes back at the library, where a free ice cream treat awaits all participants.
The proceeds from the event support the Adoption Medical Fund of CACS. This program covers the cost of providing veterinary care, medicines, spay/neuter services, and pet food for pets awaiting adoption.
Register here for the Moonlight Loop. The entry fee is $40 per rider in advance, or $45 on the night of the ride.
